Farmhouse Table Supper: “Maine Summer Supper”

East Forty Farm is a working farm, and as you dine you will hear the cow’s bells as they graze in the field; contented grunts from the pigs in their forest pasture; and assorted clucks and quacks. The early evening is filled with bird song, and the Medomak River is illuminated by the setting sun in the distance. Each supper has a theme and the summer series is prepared by guest chefs.
“Maine Summer Supper” will be prepared by Sandy Oliver. This menu will feature light flavors that celebrate the tart, bright flavors of the first produce of the Maine summer.
Menu: Sorrel Soup, Lemon Chicken with fingerling potatoes, wild greens salad, roasted asparagus and Lakin’s Gorges Cheese course with rhubarb and orange compote.
