East Forty Farm is located in Waldoboro, Maine — an environmentally focused farm where our cows and pigs rotationally graze in our fields and our forest. The milk from the cows goes into the production of Lakin’s Gorges Cheese’s award-winning cheeses.

Our heritage breed pigs graze the forest and pastures in rotation with our cows and are fed whey, the byproduct from our cheese production, which gives the meat a flavor profile that is truly unique to East Forty Farm.  Available for farm pick up only, East Forty Farm pork is destined to become a delicious addition to your weekly meal plans. 

Our beef is also grazed rotationally and is 100% grass fed. We have retail cut available in the Cheese Hut which is open daily, year round.
