private party

Transport yourself to Switzerland… on the Medomak River. While you dine on our handcrafted cheese or fondue, you’ll be serenaded by cow bells.

Gather your pod and plan to spend a Saturday afternoon or evening tasting our Maine-made cheese or fondue hosted by cheesemaker Allison Lakin here on the farm. What's included? You have a selection of soft and aged cheeses that are served with fruits, vegetables, house-baked crackers, and more. For a Fondue option, you will have 3 different styles to enjoy and our house-baked bread. Both includes sparkling non-alcoholic cider and tea, and you are invited to bring your favorite beverage.

$50 per person, one to six people. Please note only your party will be seated in the Summerhouse. While there is a woodstove and plenty of ventilation, we recommend that you dress for winter in Maine.

Bookings are for Saturdays only at either 11:30AM or 5:00PM. You will need to complete a form at check out with more details about your reservation.

Please be sure to let us know of any food allergies or dietary restrictions when you are making your reservation.

Cowside Suppers

Each supper highlights the best of Lakin's Gorges Cheese and East Forty Farm raised meats as well as local and seasonal ingredients. These are informal dinners, limited to 20 guests and you are invited to Bring Your Own Beverage. There is one seating at 5:30 pm.

Suppers are held rain or shine, and we do our best to make everyone comfortable. Please wear footwear appropriate to walking on gravel and grass.
